In 1975, Gerard Bertrand began his grape harvest at Chateau de Villemajou in the Corbieres, where he discovered his passion for wine. Over the course of twelve years, he honed his skills alongside his father Georges Bertrand until the fourth generation finally carried on the legacy. After the tragic death of his father in 1987, Gerard Bertrand took over the family management of the Domaine de Villemajou and founded the Gerard Bertrand wine company. The Gerard Bertrand Group comprises 16 wine estates and 16 chateaux along the Mediterranean coast of France, covering a total of 850 hectares. Some of the grapes are harvested by hand and matured in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels, while the rest is stored in stainless steel tanks.

The Hamptons Water Rose is the result of a collaboration with Jesse Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi, and reflects the lifestyle of the Hamptons and the South of France.

This rose is made from Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre. The grapes for the Hamptons Water Rose are harvested separately, cooled at 8°C and pressed to extract the rose must. Particular attention is paid to the pressing process to ensure the best possible quality. Fermentation lasts between 15 and 30 days. After ageing, it is bottled and sealed with a glass stopper to preserve its freshness and quality.
