The short name FRC stands for Flensburg Rum Company. The German city of Flensburg was once one of Europe's rum producers. As a port city and part of the Danish kingdom, it was a hub for trade with Caribbean colonies.
FRC Australian Rum is a small batch rum dedicated to the Quokka marsupial, probably the happiest animal in Australia.
The rum is distilled from molasses in pot and column stills and aged for 5 years in bourbon casks. A 2-year finish in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks perfectly rounds off this unsweetened rum bottled in natural color.
