The Erwin Sabathi winery, founded in Leutschach an der Weinstrasse in green Styria, Austria, experienced a significant upswing in 1992 when Erwin Sabathi, a tenth-generation descendant, joined his parents' business. On this basis, he independently established the now renowned "Erwin Sabathi" brand.

The winery's coat of arms is characterized by rich symbolism embedded in a design of black and gold elements. Divided by a golden crosshair, the first field shows an oak tree with three leaves and three acorns, the second a vine with grapes and leaves, the third two diagonally crossed swords and the fourth a brown trout - all in gold. Above this coat of arms is a helmet with black and gold covers, on top of which is a black cushion fringed in gold, on which two golden lions hold a silver shell. These elements symbolize stability and value.

Erwin Sabathi Gelber Muskateller Ried Krepskogel is made from 100% Gelber Muskateller grapes, which are carefully harvested by hand and traditionally fermented with natural yeast. After maturing for 12 months in large, traditional wooden barrels, the wine develops its full potential. With a drinking maturity of at least 10 years, this Muskateller offers an exceptional taste experience. It is sealed with a screw cap.

Ried Krepskogel is the southernmost part of the Poessnitzberg and produces a typical regional Riedenwein that embodies the strong, natural expression of its origin. Named after the former landowner Hans Kreps, the Krepskogel extended over a significant part of the Poessnitzberg in the 17th century. Hans Kreps was already cultivating vines there at that time, as a venerable monument from 1698 attests.
