This envied land was specifically chosen for its fertile black soil - an idyllic setting for growing the highest quality grains.
After a slow fermentation of the carefully selected grain, a triple distillation is carried out to "cleanse" the spirit of any traces of menthol.
The artesian spring water used, which is blended with the distillate, comes from Latvijas Balzams in Riga, Latvia.
To remove impurities, filtering through superfine quartz sand takes place, and the use of Russian birch charcoal helps to further optimize the spirit.
In order for the Elit to maintain its uncompromising quality, another filtration process takes place, "freezing".
A filtering process that is additionally applied after the traditional Russian filtering. The vodka is stored in barrels at temperatures of -18°, which freezes all impurities on the walls of the barrels.
The super-cooled spirit is passed through ion-charged filters at ultra-slow speeds and is finally allowed to rest.
