Edradour 25 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 54,6% Vol. 0,7l in Holzkiste

Edradour, recognized as Scotland's smallest traditional distillery since its foundation around 1825, operates largely using 19th century methods. A unique preservation of the old farmhouse distilling style, Edradour produces 12 casks of whisky a week. Owned since 2002 by Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory, Edradour has expanded its range to include new bottlings, including the peaty malts under the Ballechin name.

The 25-year-old Edradour single malt whisky is one of the oldest bottlings of the distillery, which has been owned by Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory and whisky entrepreneur, since 2002.

The production of this whisky follows traditional methods, including distillation in handmade copper pot stills and the use of carefully selected casks, with a particular focus on attention to detail. The whisky matured in first fill sherry butts and was bottled after 25 years in specially shaped decanters, similar to those used for exclusive Signatory bottlings.

It is bottled in small batches, without the addition of colorants, without chill filtration and at cask strength.
