Domaene Wachau winery, located in Austria, is one of the leading white wine producers in the country. For the so-called terraces wines are used grapes from various small terraced gardens.

A mild and dry winter was followed by a wet April, which provided the soils with plenty of moisture. Towards September, the weather deteriorated and there were rains at the beginning of harvest, but the returning sun in October allowed the grapes to ripen slowly but perfectly. The result is extremely elegant wines with lots of energy and harmonious acidity, clarity and substance. The fully ripe grapes of the Yellow Muscat are harvested by hand and, after a precise selection, pressed in pneumatic tank presses. This is followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
