The Dictador XO Insolent Rum is characterized by a unique production process. It is made from "Virgin Sugar Cane", a special type of sugar cane honey that is fermented.
Distillation takes place in a modern stainless steel alembic. The Insolent is then matured in reused oak barrels from Jerez and Portugal. During the long maturation process, the barrels absorb sweet aromas that caramelize in the rum.
The master blender uses his expertise to carefully blend barrels from different vintages to achieve the highest standard of quality before the rum is released for bottling.
This exceptional quality was confirmed by the "Grand Gold" award at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2016, underlining the excellence of this rum.
