Desiderio No. 1 lives for the craft: each bottle is lovingly made from the rarest grapes of Veneto, Italy. Traditional winemaking techniques are combined with the latest scientific knowledge, as well as a large dose of joie de vivre. The presentation of the wines produced is done in places where art is the main focus - be it in a restaurant or in a gallery. The company's philosophy is underlined by its own Desiderio No. 1 Art Lounges. In these lounges, visitors can admire art from all over the world and enjoy a glass of the excellent sparkling wine on the side. The name "Desiderio" translates as "to desire." Since each bottling is made in a careful process, the sparkling wine is created not only to be enjoyed, but also to be desired.

Desiderio No. 1 Rosso, an extra dry red sparkling wine, is made from the Veronese Raboso grape variety, a native of the Treviso area. This grape variety was born from a spontaneous crossing between Raboso Piave and Marzemina Bianca. In the past, Raboso was one of the most cultivated grape varieties in Eastern Veneto, drunk by local seafarers on long voyages - therefore Raboso was also called a voyage wine.

After maceration under controlled temperatures, a second fermentation with indigenous yeast takes place. With its captivating and seductive taste, it strikes an excellent balance between the rustic grape variety and the freshness of sparkling wine.
