Champagne Lanson was founded in 1760 and is the fourth oldest champagne house and the oldest still in family ownership. Lanson champagnes follow their own style - fresh, fruity and complex.

All champagnes of the brand are vegan and are produced according to the principle of sustainable viticulture.

The Lanson Black Label, owes its name to Victor Lanson, who created in as a tribute to the English royal court, which Lanson officially supplied since 1900. The color black was chosen as a symbol of elegance and reflects the dominant Pinot Noir grapes of this champagne with a balanced combination of vitality and finesse. The grapes are selected from over 100 crus, half of which are Grand and Premier Crus. For uniform style and aromatic intensity, 30 to 40% reserve wines are used, some of which are over 20 years old. Le Black Label achieves exceptional complexity through its aging in the cellars of the Maison for at least four years.
