The founder of the Canella brand, Luciano Canella, discovered his passion for wine as a child, when he looked after the entire range of wines in his parents' restaurant. In 1947, Canella realized his dream and founded the company Casa Vinicola Canella. The brand quickly became popular and gained more and more customers. In the 1980s, Canella specialized in sparkling wines and sparkling wines.
The DOC seal of quality guarantees that only wines from the 3,000 hectare Conegliano wine-growing region are used for this Prosecco. This dry, light sparkling wine from Conegliano, a small town in the heart of the picturesque Marca Trevigiana landscape in the province of Treviso, is made from 100% Glera (Prosecco) grapes and fermented according to the "Methode Charmat" developed in France and refined in Veneto. It preserves the fruity bouquet and produces a fine, particularly persistent perlage.
Canella Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato Extra Dry is made from ripe Glera grapes. After ageing, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
