The passion for wines discovered the founder of the brand Canella Luciano Canella already in his childhood, when he took care of the entire wine assortment in the restaurant of his parents. In 1947 Canella realized his dream and founded the company Casa Vinicola Canella. The brand quickly became popular and increasingly gained customers. In the 1980s, Canella specialized in sparkling wines and champagne.
The DOC seal of approval guarantees that only wines from the Conegliano wine-growing region, which covers around 3,000 hectares, are used for this Prosecco.
This dry light spumante from Conegliano, a small town in the heart of the picturesque Marca Trevigiana countryside in the province of Treviso, is made from 100% Glera grapes and then fermented using the "Methode Charmat" method developed in France and refined in the Veneto. This method preserves the fruity bouquet and produces a fine, particularly persistent perlage.
