Bushmills Distillery, located in picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted the first license to produce whiskey in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been cultivated here at Bushmills Distillery and passed down from generation to generation.
Black Bush 80/20 PX Sherry Cask Reserve is an exceptionally deep blended Irish whiskey. Its composition consists of 80% hand-picked malt whiskeys, which are matured in high-quality sherry casks. Some of these malts are also finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which gives the whiskey an unmistakable sweetness and depth. The remaining 20% consists of grain whiskeys, which give the blend a soft, balanced structure and harmoniously round off the complex aromas.
