In 1795, Jean-Baptiste Antoine Otard founded the Otard distillery in Cognac, France. The company headquarters has been located in the castle of Cognac since 1796. A historic building with an impressive history.
The large castle cellar offers sufficient space and optimal conditions for storing the distillates.
In 1991, the family business was bought and taken over by Martini & Rossi S.p. A., an Italian group. Today, the Otard distillery belongs to Bacardi, an American group based in Bermuda.
Otard XO Gold is an absolute noble cognac. It matures for at least 35 years in oak barrels and is composed of the finest eaux-de-vie wines from Champagne and Borderies.
