The Argiano winery was founded in the 16th century and comprises 51 hectares of vineyards. The winery became famous for its highly acclaimed Brunello Montalcino. Today, they can boast an even larger and, above all, highly award-winning range.
Argiano has not used single-use plastic in production since 2019.
The three grape varieties used for Argiano Solengo Rosso are separated after the harvest and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 12-16 days. After fermentation, the wine matures for 15 to 17 months in new French barriques, allowing its aroma to develop to the full.
