With the founding of Hunter Laing & Co. Ltd. in Glasgow, Stewart Laing and his sons Andrew and Scott fulfilled a long-held dream: to produce their own whisky. With a family heritage dating back to the 1940s and Stewart's over 50 years of experience in the whisky industry, they had in-depth knowledge and decades of expertise. This foundation of tradition, experience and passion laid the foundation for their vision to take the family business to the next level: The creation of their own unique distillery.

The Ardnahoe 5 YO Inaugural Release is more than just a whisky - it is the beginning of a chapter that the Laing family is writing with their new Islay distillery. Strictly limited and carefully matured for five years, this single malt is a true highlight for connoisseurs and aficionados. Matured in an exquisite combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, it combines the unmistakable Islay characteristics with remarkable depth and elegance. Each bottle is bottled without chill-filtration and without the addition of colorants to preserve its purity and authenticity.
