The Ardbeg distillery is the black sheep among the distilleries on Islay. It stands out especially with its turbulent history as well as its unorthodox attitude. The design of the bottle and the gift box can be derived from this thesis.
The whiskey is stored in former New Zealand Pinot Noir barrels.
