The Vereinte Winzer Blaufraenkischland Genossenschaft stands for the careful selection and purchase of quality wine grapes from Central Burgenland, which are processed with expertise in its own wine cellar. Participation in this cooperative offers winegrowers numerous advantages, including the opportunity to benefit from a profitable collaboration despite the higher costs involved in complying with strict quality standards.
Under the motto "Central Burgenland under one roof!", the cooperative unites efforts to strengthen and jointly market the region and its wines.
The Arachon, a highlight of the cooperative, is always presented on September 1st - two years after the harvest. The name "Arachon" has its roots in the Old Slavic-Alto-Slovenian language and in the Middle Ages referred to the village of Horitschon, which is considered the home of this wine.
