The Vereinte Winzer Blaufraenkischland Genossenschaft stands for the careful selection and purchase of quality wine grapes from Central Burgenland, which are processed with expertise in its own wine cellar. The Arachon, a highlight of the cooperative, is always presented on September 1st - two years after the harvest. The name "Arachon" has its roots in the Old Slavic-Alto-Slovenian language and in the Middle Ages referred to the village of Horitschon, which is considered the home of this wine.
