"Aikan" describes the bond of marriage in the language of the indigenous people of Martinique.
However, the term does not refer to the marriage between two people, but to the union of two completely different climates.
First, this whiskey rests for the first three years in Scotland, before it then begins its second storage on the island of Martinique, in the French Antilles in the Caribbean, for one year in a former rum cask.
Two continents and two climates that could not be more different marry and create a grandiose interplay.
