Both variants are the same age, but the maturation under different conditions gives them unique characteristics. While one matures on the coast and is characterized by a soft and light character, the other whisky matured inland develops a rich and smoky profile. This Aerstone series offers the following two single malts to choose from: "Smooth and Easy" or "Rich and Smoky".
Aerstone Land Cask 10 Years Old, matured in an inland warehouse, is finished with Highland peat to develop a distinct smoky character. This whisky reflects the depth and intensity created by storage away from the coast.
