The history of the Adam-Lieleg winery begins in 1893, when Johanna Adam moved to Leutschach an der Weinstrasse. Over the generations, winegrowing became the family's lifeblood, starting with Franz and Franziska Adam, followed by Franz and Anna Adam. In 1999, the marriage of Liane Adam and Manfred Lieleg marked the founding of the Adam-Lieleg winery. The winery focuses on producing quality wines in limited quantities that are not intended for the world market, but specifically for connoisseurs and lovers of fine wines.

A new logo was introduced in 2018, symbolizing the long-standing tradition, the connection to viticulture and nature. The name "Adam", from the Hebrew for "earthling" (human), stands for the terroir-related color brown in the brand identity. "Lieleg" is derived from the lily, a symbol of freshness and purity, which was also used in the Middle Ages and in the coat of arms of the city of Paris and serves as the winery's new trademark.

Adam-Lieleg Muskateller Ried Kranachberg Suedsteiermark DAC is made from 100% Muskateller grapes and grows on calcareous sand and sandstone soils, which are characterized by crystalline minerals such as quartz and tourmaline. The vines thrive at an altitude of 500 to 540 meters and benefit from a south to south-easterly exposure, which ensures optimal sunlight. After maturing in steel tanks, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
