The inspiration for the vision begins with founder Mark Reynier, who has over four decades of experience in the wine and spirits industry. From managing a grand cru vineyard in Burgundy, to working as a wine importer and merchant in London, to reviving the iconic Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay in 2001, he has been instrumental in the development of products such as Botanist Gin, Port Charlotte and Octomore Single Malts.

In 2016, he founded the Waterford Distillery in the south-east of Ireland, where the ideal conditions for growing the best barley in the world prevail. Here, the principles of terroir, biodynamics and cuvees could be consistently applied to barley and whisky to create a unique and high-quality product.

The latest release from the Waterford Distillery, the most unique creation to date, is THE CUVEE Edition. This exceptional whisky is made from 25 distinctive Waterford single malts, all sourced from a single farm. Bottled at 50% alcohol by volume, this whisky has no coloring, chill-filtration or additives, preserving its purity and quality.
