Bottled by the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage, this Lowland single malt Scotch whisky comes from the traditional Auchentoshan Distillery. It was distilled on 16.04.2013 and bottled on 08.09.2025 after 12 years of maturation. Auchentoshan is one of the last Lowlanders to still be triple-distilled, which gives the distillate a particularly soft, elegant and clear basic structure that was once typical of the region.\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAndrew Symington complemented the fine, malty character of this Auchentoshan with a targeted finish in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt, which gives the whisky an additional dimension. The Andalusian sherry cask brings complex fruity and spicy aromas, depth and a creamy mouthfeel to the elegant Lowland structure. The bottling comes from cask no. 4 (part), from which only 394 bottles were produced. The whisky was bottled at a powerful 56.9% vol. in cask strength, non-chill-filtered and uncolored, thus preserving the unadulterated character of the cask and distillery.
