The Aberlour house style has always been known for its intense sherry character, which has been further enhanced here by a finish in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt.\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn combination with the fresh Oloroso cask, the result is an exceptionally rich, sweet and deeply structured Speyside experience that takes the malty, fruity character of the distillery to a new level of intensity. The bottling comes from cask no. 6 (part), from which only 394 bottles were produced. This Aberlour was bottled at 55.5% vol. in cask strength, non-chill-filtered and uncolored, which means that the texture, cask strength and aroma density are fully preserved.
