It is based on crystalline sugarcane syrup, processed using a traditional method. This Pure Single Rum was distilled in September 2019 in a handcrafted Muller-Bain-Marie still, whose discontinuous distillation process preserves the raw material’s unique character. Following distillation, a three-year aging process began, endowing this Providence with an extraordinary blend of Haitian rum tradition and a significant chapter in Caribbean rum history.

\r

The rum completed its full three-year aging period, from 2019 to 2022, in original ex-Caroni barrels. This brings together the artisanal production of the young Haitian distillery and barrels from the legendary, now-closed Caroni Distillery in Trinidad. In 2022, the Providence 3 Years Haitian Pure Single Rum was bottled with a robust 52% alcohol content and without any added colorants. The combination of pure single rum from Haiti, traditional distillation, and three years of aging in ex-Caroni barrels gives this bottling a particularly distinctive place within the Providence lineup. This characterful rum is available in a 0.7-liter bottle with a gift box.
