The whisky was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 after a total of 12 years of aging. At the heart of this special bottling is the Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogshead #9371, whose influence lends the single malt a distinctive cask character. The hogshead used combines the robust GlenAllachie style with the influence of sweet Spanish Pedro Ximenez sherry. This bottling is particularly appealing to enthusiasts of intensely cask-influenced Speyside whiskies, where the age, vintage, and specific cask are clearly identified.

\r

The GlenAllachie 2014/2026 PX Sherry Hogshead #9371 is bottled at an impressive 62.7% ABV, making it a particularly robust spirit. Cold filtration and the addition of coloring are avoided, ensuring that the natural character of the cask remains as unaltered as possible. Kirsch also explicitly markets this bottling as a non-smoky single malt, placing particular emphasis on the influence of the Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The bottling is produced by The GlenAllachie Distillers Co. Limited, which, under the leadership of Billy Walker, is known for its strong focus on cask selection and cask management. The combination of 12 years of aging, the 2014 vintage, PX Sherry Hogshead #9371, 62.7%, and natural color makes this 0.7-liter bottling in gift packaging a particularly interesting choice for collectors and sherry cask enthusiasts.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0865/2193/8218/files/17a2437b47109511414995b9e28eb6a57754d6d50babddf8a8db10da9069ec81.jpg?v=1790866448
https://mydrinx.shop/es/products/the-glenallachie-12-years-old-pedro-ximenez-sherry-hogshead-2014-62-7-vol-0-7l-in-giftbox
